Everest Base Camp Trekking Meditation
An Awaken journey into the Heart of the Himalayas
Overview
After five days of stillness and renewal in Dhulikhel, (whether you joined the retreat or joined us 2 days earlier to acclimatize) the journey continues from the quiet of meditation to the rhythm of footsteps on ancient trails.
The Everest Base Camp Trek is the next chapter of Awaken in the Himalayas an invitation to integrate what was cultivated in silence and carry it into motion.
This is not only a trek; it’s a living meditation, an exploration of strength, humility, and presence.
The Journey
From Kathmandu, we take a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region.
Over the next 12 days, the path winds through Sherpa villages, suspension bridges, prayer flags, and monasteries, rising gradually toward Everest Base Camp (5,364 m).
The trail offers moments of physical challenge balanced by deep stillness, each day an unfolding between breath, nature, and awareness.
Highlights include:
The serenity of Namche Bazaar, the vibrant mountain capital
Visits to ancient Tengboche and Pangboche monasteries
Kala Patthar sunrise, offering one of the most awe-inspiring views of Everest
Nights under Himalayan constellations, surrounded by stillness and the pulse of the mountains
The Awaken Approach
This is not a conventional adventure trek.
Guided by the spirit of Awaken, this journey blends mindful travel, spiritual practice, and self-inquiry.
Each morning begins with breath and body awareness, simple yoga or grounding movement to awaken energy.
Evenings close with meditation, reflection, or sharing circles.
Through this rhythm, walking becomes prayer, and every landscape becomes an inner mirror.
